Prior to the beginning of work, the project area was occupied by the CPF Construction Firm and housed its main production area.

Following the conversion of the company’s facilities and a repurposing of the company’s mission in the direction of construction contracting, the area began to deteriorate. From these circumstances the idea was born to restore the zone to a useable condition through the creation of a new center for production. The project, which involved both demolition and rebuilding, included the construction of two new production facilities while maintaining the original structures.

The site’s location along Via De’ Cattani and a new roadway contemplated in the general zoning plan allowed greater ease of access as well as flexibility for the  new structures.
