The repurposing of this shopping center in Sesto Fiorentino—owned by Unicoop-Firenze—was begun in 2009 with renovation of most of the building and the addition of a new area destined to house a significant magnet store within the center, in this case a new Decathlon.

In order to ensure a balanced connection between old and new spaces, new construction was completed using the same building styles and detailing employed in the existing architecture.
